Amen. I was also reading that passage of Scripture this morning and it was touching. Joseph saw how God had strategically placed him in Egypt to bring about a great deliverance to his family. I was in a service on Wednesday evening were Pastor Nicky said we do not even know what we need half the time but we must trust God.
And half the time we wanted our lives to turn out in a particular and it seems that everything fell through the cracks. But have you ever stopped to think that maybe God`s fingerprints are all over your life journey. Have you ever thought that maybe just maybe God is setting you up to stand in a place where you could not by your own effort end up? Think about it how was Joseph meant to get to the place of being ruler over Egypt? In the daily reading today Joseph says "God has made me Father over Pharoah". Now that influence, thats power! What effort could Joseph have put to get himself there? Think about it. So I say to you as I say to all CHILL OUT!!! Stop thinking that just because your "5 YEAR PLAN" didn`t work out in the way you wanted it to you`re doomed! See God in everything, see Christ in everything. Rather train your heart to see what God is doing, how everything is really working together for your good, your benefit, your well-being. Then you can boldly say like Joseph said "it wasn`t you who brought me here, but God!".
