KNOPPIX is no longer available from its own web site in Germany.
www.knoppix.de bears a notice that the site is closed due to the
European software patent debacle.
The latest version, dated 7-25-2003, is available from some
mirrors, but
attempts to download from the KNOPPIX site fail.
So sad to see this little gem fall under the heels of
jack-booted thugs.

http://ftp.ntua.gr/pub/linux/knoppix/ still has it. I imagine that
after the EU parliament meets it will be replaced.
