Yes! As a lot of others have mentioned the overly-broad and largely unresearched patents currently being issued in ALL FIELDS are a serious problem. I hope the folks in Europe manage to move things in the right direction. Or at least hold back the seemingly inexorable slide towards more, longer, and increasingly ridiculous patents.
