My PS/2 57SLC2 had a 486SLC 50MHz processor. And a 212MB SCSI drive. I upgraded the machine to with a Model 77 486DX4-100MHz system board. I still have the machine with Red Hat Linux 5.2 with Microchannel enabled in the kernel. The machine is a TANK! It NEVER EVER gave me a problem.
