I've been trying to use Trinux with a 3c590 as well but have had
problems. Mine loads.. I can ping out to other machines just fine.
But I can ping the localhost and other machines can't ping it..
strangely, ifconfig shows that eth0's and lo's RX AND TX both
increment in each respective case showing that it IS sending info
back.. it just doesn't seem to be getting there.
I've spent a lot of time on this and reviewed plenty of old trouble-
shooting problems and FAQs so I'm pretty sure I have the routing
table right but...
Maybe it's related somehow.
