I'm sorry, but any suggestion that implies that software (especially free  
software) has an obligation to obscure anything from its user is going to be  
frowned upon. The point of the free software movement is to give so-called  
average users more control and knowledge over their computer.

As for your assertion that the poor defenseless (as if having the FBI and  
Homeland Security at their beck and call isn't enough) entertainment industry  
is being "raped" by the big bad "pirates" I'm not really an economic-minded  
person, but I don't see any rape going on.
