I made another sip account on iptel.org, where I do not seem to need
forwarding. So far, I've used only its echo test account. Instead of
ekiga client, I'm using linphone.

Please, tell us your results. Remember to reboot your router after
changing the port forwarding, if necessary.
Maybe your router can assign the public IP to your computer. It was
necessary for me once, but maybe it has security issues, so better
turn it off when you stop using ekiga.
