Do You mean Trisquel's? The answer is no, I had to add mate Repos to build this.I don't think you have to worry though because MATE is based off of Gnome 2 which was GPL licensed. Just stay away from the section that says "nonfree".
Oh and by the way, I use getdeb a lot for games. Consequently it ended up on my cd image. I disabled it by default because I don’t know how well they separate free and nonfree games. It should be OK to use if you check licences carefully.
