I personally also use a lot of proprietary work (mostly on video game  
consoles since I am a retro-gamer collectioner). And I will not say no, but I  
just use them because I love it and because we no alternative. It is  
complicated to make the big jump from a day to another. Some are working  
harder than others for that to happen. When it started to be possible to jump  
in the "totally free distritution" boat I jumped as well and never came back.  
When it will be possible to jump in the "video game console totally free"  
boat then I will do the same, etc.. etc...
