These exerpts chosen by a Gentoo user (in 2011) are pretty scary too.  
Although it does not seem to be based on the last version of the license (the  
numbering of the clauses differ), they still seem to be present.

It does not seem the FSF has reviewed this license.
What about trying tcplay (distributed under the 2-clause BSD license)?
