I think this is a great point.  I'd really like to see this distribution  
succeed, and I think any hostility is counteractive.  I understand that  
directions for installing nonfree software can't be given here, and I'm  
guessing that comes up often enough that the regulars are really sick of it,  
but a polite "no" while proposing alternatives (as some here are doing!) will  
be much more welcoming.
