I see.. they use basically the same name for many different models over a
long period of time. You said Strata and I didn't realize a quick search
would result in the wrong model. I was mistaken about the stock situation and
the screen size as a result.
I was looking at the following:

This is even worse. It's 1.39" thick. I didn't mean to imply that they were
falsely advertising the thickness of the machine. Only that the Strata laptop
is not in the same league as the King. As soon as you start shrinking
components the price jumps quite a bit. The Emperor Penguin is closer to the
Strata. However even this model is thinner than the Strata.
All I can say about SSD drives in general at the low end is there is a very
high failure rate within the first year. Don't even ask me what the story is
over a period of 3-5 years.
