I completely agree on the Klein and Snowden thing. But given all that bullshit, I'm not sure that the buggy features of this or that chip are worth debating.

If they're pulling a copy of all our traffic (and it seems clear that they are), then running a compromised chip is only represents a minor improvement in their ability to look in on you.

So if it's privacy you're after, the only way to get there is to type things into any computer you like ... but only after you've ripped out the ethernet and wireless and completely disconnected that box, so that there is no traffic.

The military-industrial autocrats have put us in a situation where the solution to this problem no longer exists for the average person on the technological side.

The only true remedies remaining to us are political.
