I don't know much about adblock edge, but adblock plus is software we should  
not support.
It contains a developer-side-whitelist function which is enabled by default.
All adds on this whitelist will be displayed because they are treated as  
"acceptable".
The only reason why they are acceptable is that the owner of the add payed  
money to the adblock plus developers.
You can disable this function, but most people don't know about it, and as  
far as I heard, adblock plus applies nasty blackmail-like methods we should  
not support.
I can only give german references unfortunately.
