[Trisquel-users] Trisquel on Lenovo (beginner user)

Hello,

I would like to know if my laptop is suitable for this distribution of Linux.  
I've read articles and watched some videos regarding FSF and free software  
and it would be nice to try something different from Windows or Ubuntu.

I'm not an experienced user nor intermediate. Could You please tell me if my  
laptop: Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E330 (Windows 7 preinstalled, now Windows 8)  
will be good for this distribution? Is there something I should know about  
installation process, differences beetwen Trisquel and Ubuntu?

Is it possible to install Trisquel next to my Windows in case somethings go  
wrong :)? Currently I'm using Ubuntu 13.04 (installed on separate partition).
