As has been explained, yes but it's problematic and really should not be done. It'll probably raise eyebrows like what's going on in these forums. In the case of the the source code costing the same as the binary, it's like the person has to buy the program twice. The only reason to make someone buy the program twice is to discourage them from getting the source code, and this should not be done. Don't discourage people from getting freedom.
