[Trisquel-users] Haswell 3-d support?

Hi! I'm trying to get hardware acceleration working so I can run gnome shell.  
The computer in question has a haswell i3-4130 processor with the HD4400  
graphics chip. I tried installing jxself's latest linux-libre kernel but that  
didn't seem to work. Is there anything else I can try or am I out of luck?

Also, and of secondary importance, I was unable to boot this computer from a  
net-install disc. This is my first encounter with restricted boot so I am  
guessing that this is the reason? Is there any way around this?
