I see no reason to comment on the sort of dyspeptic bile which is classically associated with lonely single men who have consumed too much booze. I recommend you ignore it.
As to your performance problem - running which apps? There are many which will put a strain on a 512Mb computer, regardless of clock speed. The nVidia graphics probably won't be good enough for many 3d apps etc. Leny
