Anecdotal: I know almost nothing about GNU/linx, under the hood but it's
been the easiest experience with user-computer I've ever had. With the few
distro's I've installed myself its been plug and play (with some small amount
of requisite self tutoring and investigation -- and some key Community
support.) All in all night and day difference from the nightmare that is
Windows, and a more satisfying user and learning experience than Apple and
its Borg assimilation mentality.
