lembas: the Indicator Applet which Trisquel 7 uses by default doesn't have any settings. I think what moxalt suggested is what you want to do. (It's specifically under "Date & Time", by the way.) On a side note, you actually don't hold Alt while right-clicking anymore unless you're moving or deleting things. For everything else, it's just a right-click.
Lock screen control is under "Brightness & Lock" in the System Settings. I
don't think anything actually logs you out automatically.
