I've never heard of Trisquel mini, so I think Trisquel.
(1) Lock screen. Fixed. (2) Thanks, I'll look into that.(3) If I do that with ctrl or shift, I get a popup button named "about", which doesn't lead anywhere useful. If I do it using alt, I get the ability to move it, or to remove it from the panel.
