if you want, you could start with the Turtle Academy, which is all basic and  
you catch on quick (http://turtleacademy.com/) I know it is for kids but is  
super fun for beginners. I begun my Programming language with PHP and MySQL  
for Drupal. But you need to do research and go look what everything is about,  
because you cannot just start a language and expect to immediately start  
understanding how Game Development works. You can learn from suggestions but  
at the end you need to decide for yourself. In My opinion.

Godot - http://www.godotengine.org/ is awesome, and there is an RSS feed,  
where the people are SUPER nice and willing to help, even if you are starting  
out. (:
