This site describes isomaster: http://archive09.linux.com/feature/124565 but
it leaves out the all-important matter of getting the master boot record into
the resulting iso image.
I have identified isolinux.bin as the appropriate filename, but the isomaster
GUI does not indicate how I can invoke that file to get a bootable DVD. That
hurdle has to be overcome, because without explicitly adding the master boot
record, the combined iso does not produce a bootable DVD, even though
directly burning the original Trisquel iso does produce a bootable DVD with
Trisquel's CD/DVD Creator application.
There is no "select" button available in isomaster; after highlighting the
isolinux.bin file in the editable iso file listing, when I leave it
highlighted and then go to "Tools -> Boot Record -> Add -> use selected file
on image (no emulation)" the resulting saved combination iso file has the
identical number of bytes as the combined iso that failed to produce a
bootable DVD. If I save isolinux.bin to the hard drive and then add it to the
editable iso file listing, that combination is also saved with an identical
number of bites.
