I am using a Dell Inspiron N5050 and I recently dropped it by accident of course.

I am only able to boot from a usb flash drive which thankfully I had setup with trisquel already before the drop happened. I have lost access to my internal hard drive it doesn't get detected on boot. I am also unable to access my portable hard drive it didn't get dropped it did fall but it was in my laptop lapdesk which I caught before it hit the floor. My laptop unfortunately did drop and hit the floor not real hard nothing broke off just have paint on the laptop lid from the door I was leaning on and it fall. just the part where the battery goes hit the floor the internal dvd drive ejected when it fell I had no dvd in it not sure why it did that. I just tested a audio cd and it is able to detect and mount it. I just have issues with mounting internal and external drives. I have the internal harddrive bio password protected and it no longer asks for that on boot should I disable that? My screen seems to be fine don't notice any damages from it getting scratched by the door the lid got scratched not the lcd screen.

I tested out my music player my sansa clip plus by sandisk and I am able to mount that. The audio player has no moving parts.

Also I am unable to use my external dvd drive anymore since I dropped my laptop. I didn't drop the external dvd drive it was not in my laptop lapdesk.

I've never had this issue before what should I do?

I fixed my laptop when the fax broke recently and I fixed that successfully. So if I need to do any internal repairs such as reconnecting stuff I can do that.

What should I do?
