I'm going to have to disagree. Please, don't pay money for proprietary
software games. In fact, please don't even talk about proprietary software
games. Proprietary indie games are the most difficult thing we libre game
developers have to compete with, and it's completely senseless; indie game
developers would likely be no worse off if they made their games libre.
(Consider the fact that they often use a "pay what you want" model.) If
there's a proprietary indie game you like, rather than buying the game,
message the developer (in a private format like email) and tell them that you
like the game, why you like it, and why you're still not going to financially
support it or recommend it to your peers because it is proprietary. Then
explain what libre software is, why proprietary software is an injustice,
etc.
