Trisquel is easier for new users. There's nothing wrong with Debian if one
doesn't install non-free firmware or non-free repositories which are easily
enabled. On Trisquel not so obvious to do. Moreover, Trisquel has a heavy
emphasis on freedom that Debian lacks. Debian is free and libre but it's not
their mission to preach that actively. They don't even use the GNU slash
epithet anymore. If you are all for libre software and cherish your liberty,
then Trisquel is the way to go.
