Reading this, I tried inserting GRUB modules manually

And insmod luks works, but cryptomount then says "Cypher aes isn't  
available". What's that, another module?
For the sake of trying stuff, I tried to insmod lvm, but the module isn't  
found, even though I'm pretty sure I've added it...

I'll try that first.
