I might be mistaken, but a flip phone isn't better. The modem is still able to track you.And you can be sure that none of the software in there is free. You can't browse the web with Tor, you can't use F-droid apps.
Else, more solid (or like, cheaper so damage isn't as bad), better battery life (can be compensated with external or internal batteries).
So, no flip phone for me.
