Also on topic: it is possible for a layman who has spent enough time on the Trisquel boards to run a "more free" version of Ubuntu by adding Jxself's linux-libre kernel and disabling the restricted and multiverse repositories.

It's a bit more work than clicking on the defaults in Debian and there has been some discussion about it in the past from people who care more about such matters than I do.

Ruben and the other Trisquel developers do far more than this for us, so it's really not worth the hassle unless there is some pressing need for the latest and the greatest.
