Use "dvdbackup" utility. Simple as :
dvdbackup --mirror This will extract the whole DVD to your hard drive. (VIDEO_TS folder) There shouldn't be any protection left.Import that folder in handbrake to encode it to x264 for example, or drag'n'drop the folder in VLC to play it
