You're making some valid points.
I don't think that the fsf should really "exclude" any of those distros or  
label it as the "best" or "most recommended" one, but they definitely
should make more categories and should put the ones on top that are targeting  
the broadest audience. "dragora" for instance should be listed, but not as  
present as trisquel.
Also, it would be good to have a "most actively developed distros" list,  
excluding ones with little development progress.
