My bad. We should have gone with the line for Mint 18.x. When we added the
repo, apt assumed that the version is 'flidas' because we are on Trisquel. It
should be 'xenial' which is the name of the corresponding Ubuntu version.

Don't go back and run the line for Mint 18.x, because although it will add the
correct repository the incorrect one will still be there and you'll get those
warnings every time you run apt update.

Instead, run

$ sudo nano /etc/apt/sources.list

(or replace 'nano' with your preferred text editor)

and in the following line

"deb https://dl.winehq.org/wine-builds/ubuntu/ flidas main"

change 'flidas' to 'xenial'

Then run 'sudo apt update' again and you should now be able to install with

$ sudo apt-get install --install-recommends winehq-stable
