I would argue that lowlatency is not a good choice for a *default* kernel:  
Because a) Not everyone requires it and b) Even though not everyone will  
require it, making it the default imposes the limitations of a low latency  
kernel on everyone by default in order to satisfy a subset of everyone, which  
doesn't seem right. What limitations? Well, for one low latency kernels  
sacrifice some power saving features in order to reach its goal of low  
latency. Not everyone requires that so why not let them have their power  
saving features while leaving low latency as an option for those that really  
want it? It's just a sudo apt install away after all.
