Iirc the emptyView never gets a handlePageLoadFinished (thus no initial
resize) why i passed it an initial fixed size (as it reported here by the
page on every run) - i guess just invoking that slot (pot. queued) might
be sufficient - i'll fix it this evening (as long as the messages work,
i'n not too mauch worried ;-)
