I did not use e-meters at all. The change will be perceived by you only if it is perceivable by you. Small changes (quite normal on level 2) are harder to perceive. But if you do forget to use RI after a trom session, in next use of RI the changes will be stronger. But it seems to me that is not a good idea forget RI (or buy a e-meter) just to perceive changes on level 2, if you can perceive boredom (= no changes at all). Your perception will improve dramatically with your practice. Don't worry about.
