Terrance
The whole purpose of this therapy and of scientology therapy is to get the
person fully in present time. That is get his attention fully in the
present instant of time perceiving what is around him. The Repair of
Importance exercise does this by exercising the basic functions of the being
which are to create to uncreate to perceive and to not perceive.
Timebreaking on the other hand does this by getting the person to fully
perceive the past incident that continually grabs his attention. When fully
perceived it will diminish in importance until it is of no importance to the
person any more. When it is of no importance it will not distract the
person's attention from the present moment.
This is the simplicity of what is going on. You can vary the exercises
considerably and still achieve these objectives. There is no magic formula
of the order in which you do the steps of RI that is necessarily beyond the
simple "What works for you"

Apply the processes of RI and timebreaking in a way that works for you and
do the processing.

Keep on TROMming

1 - I want to make sure that the proper way to run RI is as shown below

a-5-a-4-a-6-a-8-a-2-a-8-a-1-a-1-a-0
b-8-b-1-b-1-b-0
a-4-a-6-a-0
b-6-b-2-b-7-b-1-b-0

And Not:
a-5-a-4-a-6-a-8-a-2-a-8-a-1-a-1-a-0
b-8-b-1-b-1-b-0
a-b-5-a-b-2-a-b-4-a-b-9-a-b-5-a-b-0

The numbers represent amount of change, so when change is zero, you EP.
'a' represents running 'Create something'
'b' represents running 'Have someone else create something'

So I am basically saying that the final step does involve interspersing
commands 'a' and 'b', but repeating 'a' and 'b' once more after doing
them once.

Now, I am about to get a Stalker e-meter and am assuming that the
'change' that Dennis refers to can be measured there?

And, without a meter, how would one detect 'change' when one is
following commands a and b.

And finally, for those for whom none of the 3 command sets produce
change, Dennis suggests a simpler exercise of touching walls and floors
and tables until they produce no 'change' ---
I find these instructions very odd. I just touched my table twice and it
seemed the same both times to me. In other words there was no change
between the two times I touched it from what I could tell.

Just by way of association, I know of a different Freezone exercise at
http://SoloProcessing.EU where you pay attention to a mass on your body
until it dissolves. And until it dissolves, the meter will show some
sort of reading.
