Hi Martin Glad to see you back, I have been wondering over the last few months where you were, you see, someone cares about you:) Here are some descriptions of methods I use, some of them you know. The first method is EFT, this produces massive discharges of blocked energy in me, retching, body jerks and a sudden feeling that my head is going to explode, that is quite violent, i have stop instantly when that happens and yawns galore. EFT does most defintely work, I have used it many times on body pains and ailments and I always feel much better after a session. QE (Quantum Entrainment), I think you know this one, this is much gentler when I use it, I find as usual yawns coming off, incidents arising in the mind, the oddest thing I find with this procedure is very often how my body will twist into strange positions, really odd how it appear to bend and twist without any effort by me. I usually use this with one finger over my heart and one finger lower down on my stomach, I then sort of get out of the way and just focus on the fingers while maintaing a sort of peaceful, pleasant feeling in my mind, always leaves me feeling better and peaceful after a session. I also use a biofeedback device, a bit like an emeter except you don't look for incident or reads, the idea is to relax, let go, meditate. The meter device measures Basal Resistance and Lesh states. Connected to the meter are hand electrodes these are on a strap which fits around the palm of the hand, so the two round metal electrodes lie across the palm of the hand, very comfortable and you can put you arm on the table or lap and forget about them. Rather than me type up all about Lesh states you can find data about them here at the bottom of the page and see the scale: http://www.yogamag.net/archives/1982/emay82/yogbio.shtml I don't do yoga by the way, that site just has the scale and some info I am trying to inform you of. If you look at Lesh state 6, that is the aim or goal people try to achieve by use of the device. It's a bit like trying to get the tonearm of a Scientology Emeter to go down from Hi TA to low Ta by using relaxation or meditation techniques rather than watching the needle for reads and finding incidents to run. I also use guided relaxation or meditation mp3s these relax a person very well. The last thing I use is called a Light/sound device, I have three types of these, they consist of a pair of glasses with LEDs in front of them, the main one I use is called a Procyon, whic has 3 coloured LEDs each side, red, green, blue, you also plug a pair of earphones into the device the sound from the earphones is slightly different in each ear producing a frequency in the brain that induces one of the 3 states. The idea is to train the brain to go into various states such as Alpha, Beta, Delta. You can have a session to increase focus or concentration, to relax or deep meditation, to make you go to sleep, also to increase visualisation. It's a bit like looking into a 3D Kaleidoscope or to put it another way a bloody good drug trip without the use of drugs, so I am told, you wouldn't believe the patterns, really weird stuff that shows up, huge space, spinning down long twisting tunnels, floating above huge spiraling galaxes, great fun:) Anyway, hope you found some of that informative. Hi Mickel, I found your post most interesting in that it confirms a view that the body tends to mirror the mind and once the mind is resolved it becomes a tool which can be used for just about anything. Well done on your realizations. I would love to hear about those other methods you have been using to get on your feet again. For myself every instant of "awareness" attained in a "no time" zone seems able to correct any thing not optimum. Much love, Martin
