As far as I get it, TROM gives enough tools for making you a master of this
game. By that I mean the maximum level of skill – in every situation you know
the best move to make. Btw, it means, that if 2 people of this maximum level of
skill would play checkers against each other, they would always get DRAW
result. Or, maybe, the one playing for white would always win.

Hi Max,

TROM is a resolution of mind - What we address in TROM is to a large extent "conflicting postulates" in our minds.

Games like checkers are finite (they end ) and unless one feels overwhelmed by being beaten - winning or losing the game doesn't affect one.

FROM TROM:
"Conflicting postulates are called a game. The purpose of a game is to have fun. All conflicting postulates are essentially a game, though it may be called other things. Due to contagion with opposing postulates all games tend to reduce the ability of the being to postulate."

Suppose your opponent in checkers, gloated over winning and called you a fool. You know you are not a fool and you may then have a conflicting postulate in your mind. That is what is addressed by TROM.

If you want to be a master in checkers - the way to go about it - is to study and play checkers. TROM will give you greater equanimity and possibly you would thereby play a better game. Or, just maybe, your desire to be a master player would no longer exist.

Martin
