Leonardo - That was tremendous advice which should be included in TROMhelp. What say you Pete? Instead of adding to original tech we could have an advice section?

Hi Josh

I am happy to have a fellow in this group as young as you. With TROM your life probably will turn to something much better than today, and you will have a lot of time to enjoy.

In the TROM book you will find five levels of exercises: Levels One to Five.

*Level One* is just a safety test before using TROM. Just do the test.

*Level Two* is a training level. You will learn how to discharge all bad scenes. You can start Level Two exercises right after successful test of Level One. And you do not need even read about Level Three, Four or Five to start exercises safely.

I suggest you to assess (with all TROM Levels exercises) the charge of each scene before timebreak using a SUE Scale level (Subjective Units of Experience ranging from -10 to +10: http://1-eft.com/sue_scale_diagrams.htm). So you can re-assess any scene any time you want to identify more precisely your progress with a specific scene. This technique (Nov/2011, by Silvia Hartmann) is not part of TROM manual, but is like a "mental e-meter" and will help you to persist with TROM especially during the timebreak of really bad scenes.

At start of Level Two exercises you must be careful to not use scenes (or people) with SUE level ranging from -10 to -2, because those scenes are not for beginners. Later on with this same Level Two, as you improve your ability to do timebreaks and RIs, you can choose even more charged scenes.

*Level Three* is the first step of the real therapy. Just start Level Three when you feel comfortable to timebreak most of the scenes on Level Two without the "fragmentation" of each scene in smaller parts. But with a really heavy (-10) scene you always can return to Level Two only to vanish the charge of that specific scene. In this Level Three you should remember (and timebreak) each scene (or person) that bugs you with SUE level lower than 0. Read the Level Three theory once more and start exercises.

*Level Four* is the next step, when you cannot remember more scenes on Level Three. Here you will learn another ,"digging technique" to remember additional charged scenes. Read the Level Four theory once more and start exercises.

*Level Five* is the next (and last) step, when you cannot remember more scenes with Level Four. Here you will learn another "digging technique". This level is much more complicated, but still learnable. Read the Level Five theory once more and start exercises.

The need of practical exercises to understand theory is required in any field of knowledge, like TROM, mathematics and even philosophy. I see this every day being a engineering teacher for 30 years.

However, I (and many people also) decided to read the entire TROM book several times before start with exercises. I was afraid to harm myself with TROM exercises.

But today I know that Levels One and Two will not kill you, nor harm you in any way, and the only way to ruin with Level Three is not doing enough RI.

So all those re-readings *before exercises* was a total loss of time!

The theory helps you to understand the exercises and this understanding is enough to start with them.

The real understanding of the entire TROM technology will occurs only after you have finished all the exercises of each level. After you have finished level Two you will understand all of Level Two. After you have finished Level Three, you will understand all the theory about Level Three. After you have finished Level Four, you will understand all the theory about Level Four. After enough practice with Level Five you will be able to read and understand all theory about Level Five and all supplemental lectures on Level Five.

So be comfortable to start right now on level one. Your first doubts will fade as soon as you get some practice.

And all of we will be here for the remaining doubts.

Keep tromming

Leoncio
