HI BrianSince there are activities that are not games it would be nice to have
names for them. Play and Work are good names for these activities. You are
right that as soon as play or work gain an opponent and an opposing postulate
they become games.
you make a good point that RI is to increase havingness so using it to uncreate
is counterproductive.

Hi Pete & Allesandro,
As to work & play, I'll just say that both can be quite "game-ful"
activities. We occupy ourselves 'playing' all sorts of games. We play
baseball, soccer, football, cards, monopoly, house, etc. And work can be a
quite a competitive environment, full of games: beating the competition,
getting promoted, selling, office politics, etc.
As to running "Take something out of existence.". The reason that is not
part of RI is because it is a process that will reduce havingness
(importances). That is not necessarily a bad thing. However, it depends on
your state of mind. If you are still in a compulsive game condition with
your mind then you will certainly need RI.
I agree that being competent in this ability is just as useful as the other
native abilities. Timebreaking itself is a taking out of existence process.
So by time-breaking you are exercising this ability.
Level 5 is a direct exercise in using postulates. When you put up the
postulates you are bringing them into existence. When you cease putting them
up you have taken them out of existence.
You can certainly experiment with running anti-RI (don't forget to
simultaneously also not-know that which you have taken out of existence) :)
My suggestion would be to just continue running TROM as given by Dennis.
Your ability to take things out of existence will improve along with your
ability to do the other abilities.

Hi Allesandro
Good to hear form you again.
You have hit on several topics here so let me take them on one at a time.
In the beginning there was only god and nothing else. Now there is a
universe of stuff and billions of beings that we know of. So when you reach
a no games condition you still have all these other beings and stuff of the
universe carrying on with their games.
Next, you are stating there are two conditions of "no games" and "games" but
in fact there is a range of possibilities from no games to play then work
and finally games. Play is activity engaged in just for fun with no product
or service as an outcome. work is activity with a product or service
outcome. Both play and work are "no games" activities since they are not
played with goals opposing the goals of others. in other words in play and
work i am not trying to force anything on another or take anything from
another.
Next your RI process of taking things out of existence could end up being
the postulate "to destroy" by taking someone else's stuff out of existence.
I have not tried it but suspect it would not have a therapeutic outcome. If
you do that exercise let us know how it works out.
Finally my goal for TROM is to end up in a mostly no games condition with a
state of existing, lacking for nothing and joy filled. This state i could
continue to be in most of the time without effort or even permanently.
What do you think?
Sincerely
Pete Mclaughlin

out a list , that brings us for a moment to the state of "I exist" , with
the void all around. You know sometimes a break, from playing all the games
we are in , could be helpful and restful. To recharge before to dive into
playing again.
