Hi Leoncio What the therapy of TROM shows is that the compulsive games player is compelled to play the game. He justifies his continuing to play no matter how insane the activity is because the compulsion to behave the way he is behaving is un confrontable. If you point out to him what he is doing that is insane he will say of course he is doing that and he must continue to do it exactly that way or his whole world will collapse.
The TRUTH will not set him free because he cannot look at it. Could Hitler stop killing Jews? No he could not as it was part of the beliefs system that brought him to power in Germany that he must do something about the Jewish problem.
