If you could easily and naturally get into the viewpoint of one of our psychotic world leaders what would you do with that ability? If you could BE that person?
It is actually quite easy for me to get into the viewpoint of someone like, say, The Queen of England, including all her perversions, psychosis, etc. I could even say she is my "sister" and feel compassion for her even though she has been able to cause much degradation....Too many lifetimes living amongst the royals I suppose. It's as if I knew her when she was more sane, and perhaps have some responsibility for her current condition. I once attended a speech given by an OT7 and he said that the best thing to do is to get into the viewpoint of the "other" and from that viewpoint, change your mind. Would that be pan-determinism at its best? It seems though that gradients are necessary re changing my mind when I am her, because her case is quite severe, and I have to be willing to experience that and find that small gradient towards sanity. It's tedious. I'm still playing around with this and don't have more than a passing interest on the 3rd and 4th Dynamics right now, which is as it should be in my case condition, but a resonance with her does come up every now and then, and I go and take a look. At least I resolve in my own mind whatever was resonating with her fears and jeers; however my compassion for her grows even while she tries so hard to be evil and is doing a pretty good job of it too: I don't think she would like it if I said that I see her as a sane being... she is not one to be touched with a 10-foot pole, that's for sure... not in my case shape. colleen
