stdout output would allow users to redirect the stream into any number of 
applications, and would be a generally useful option.  I can't think of any 
reason not to implement it.  In my particular situation, it would be handy 
for output trplayer audio to ESD.  This would allow trplayer audio to be 
mixed audio produced by other applications.  Currently all my other 
audio-output processes are hanging until trplayer completes execution (and 
/dev/dsp comes free).
