Simpler examples might be doctrines surrounding the baptism of children. If Jesus had said not to baptize them, and that was either removed or not recorded.....then it seems obvious that the disparity of beliefs we have now regarding that matter is
the result.
Glenn - Here's the problem DaveL. Jesus NEVER said NOT to baptize children. If the Bible is silent on a subject then God doesn't care if we do or we do not. Mormons adding to the Bible is not different than a preacher adding to the Bible when he speaks.
