It is very interesting, and written by an LDS author and fireside teacher. He seems legit, is currently an Adult SS teacher in Virginia. I would not say it was critical reading, but it is referenced extensively, so might be a springboard for further reading. I see no reason not to enjoy it if you were so to choose.
