Blainer) I Believe the current edition is good enough for all practical
purposes. Most changes have been, as I understand, changes that occurred
shortly after the first printing, and have to do with punctuation and the
like. I realize some other changes have been made, but I think these
have been to adjust for changes in meaning of words over time. For
instance, the word "white" once had the connotation of pure, and so the
word "pure" has been substituted for "white" in recent editions to give a
more accurate rendition of meaning. I find no fault in this as some
hairsplitters do.
