The hebrew word used for God in this passage is "Elohim"
"im" is a plural ending in Hebrew.

There are several other examples, but this one demonstrates the point.

Blainer) PS, I liked the commentary written by Perry on THE TRINITY. He
mentioned that the Biblical text has God's name as being plural in form,
but singular in usage. Perry, can you give us an example of this by
any chance??
