Blainer) You are welcome to disagree with any and everything I say. I just felt you might be interested in a new point of view. The "man" was not just an ordinary, imperfect man however. He was "glorious beyond description," plus he had some abilities we do not have. For instance he stood in the air--he was apparently not subject to the powers of this earth, such as gravity. He was also surrounded by bright light, that pervaded the entire area. JS said he felt great joy the instant the light fell upon him. He said the leaves on the trees nearby seemed to be aflame, yet were not consumed. This was not an ordinary human, by any means, it was a personage with great powers we do not even comprehend. But he had the form of a man. "And God said, let us make man in OUR image, after OUR likeness." (Gen 1:26) (Notice "our" is a plural word) " So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them." (Gen 1:27)
BYTHEWAY, the word "GOD" in Hebrew was a PLURAL word. It would read thus in English: "So THE GODS created man in their image, in the image of THE GODS created they him, etc." On Tue, 10 Dec 2002 23:47:31 EST [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes: > In a message dated 12/10/2002 10:41:35 PM Central Standard Time, > [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes: > > > > Blainer) Separate.
