Well, I certainly do not know for sure. I have some groundless and totally
baseless conjectures, but I am trying to stick to documented facts here. I
have never seen a motive published anywhere. Maybe a good sleuth researching
the introduction of the polytheistic godhead into the LDS theology could
reveal some possible motives.
