Okay, IF YOU REALLY WANT TO KNOW; WHICH I DOUBT. J You should read the Larson book because:

1)     To be fair. David Miller has been reading Your reading materials for over 4 years now. This is the first time he has asked you to read something, and it’s too much trouble for you!

2)     To be intellectually wise. If Larson’s book can throw light on your discussion, it would be intellectually foolish to not read it. If it does not, you can use it to prove that it is not correct, and why.

3)     To prove that you, as a mormon, are not afraid to read it! In other words, we all think you are Chicken if you don’t! J

4)     BUT MOST OF ALL, JUST BECAUSE IT WOULD BE LOVING TO DO SOMETHING FOR THE SHEER REASON THAT IT WOULD MAKE DAVID MILLER HAPPY—AND THAT IS ENOUGH IN ITSELF!

Matthew 5
41   And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain. 42   Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.

DAVEH:  That you think that is "entirely fair" tells me a lot about you, Izzy!  :-)

Why would it not be fair if I simply never read it?  After all, it does nothing to fulfill my reason for being in TT.

DaveH, I would continue to insist that you read the Larson book as a loving response to David Miller’s request. Then I would love to hear you discuss it. I think that’s entirely fair!!! J Izzy

David, thanks for the kind words. But if I became a list moderator I’m afraid all the poor mormons would split! J Izzy

DAVEH:  And why would you think that, Izzy?   Would you not treat us fairly?  :-)
